ABOUT ME

I have over four years of experiences in web design and web development by designing user friendly and section 508 compliant websites for non-profits and private sectors. In my last four years as Capacity Building Specialist, ICT (Information, Communication, Technology), I had opportunities to create AIDS and HIV Prevention Educational resource websites on the latest best practices by delivering webinars by subject matter experts, downloadable educational materials, maintain and update multiple websites. I had experience creating mockups representing product (web application) designs and interfaces across a wide variety of target devices defining, creating, and enforcing guidelines for user interface, branding, and messaging consistency. My background education was in Advertising and I had the ability to collaborate across teams for visual content as needed for marketing efforts, e.g., email newsletters, Conference collaterals, and had the experience to work with the internal evaluation team to disseminate satisfaction survey to training attendees. I have understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript/PHP/MySql and how visual compositions translate to code. I have delivered flowcharts and mock ups in the beginning phase of every project and then build the web content in Content Management Systems and Learning Management Systems coordinating with Information and Technology Transfer Coordinator of the program.
